Abstract: | Female rats exposed prenatally to low levels of chlorpromazine were less susceptible as adults to the rate-reducing effects of chlorpromazine and pentobarbital on fixed-interval performance of a food-reinforced operant. Males were not significantly affected by prenatal treatment.Supported by NIMH grant MH 12568 and Research Scientist Award (Conan Kornetsky) MH 01759. We thank John Rizzo for carrying out the behavioral testing. |
