EMP1蛋白在口腔鳞癌组织中的表达及其临床意义

目的:检测上皮膜蛋白基因1 (EMP1)在口腔鳞状细胞癌(OSCC)组织中的表达及其临床意义.方法:应用免疫组织化学染色方法对60例OSCC患者组织切片中的EMP1表达进行检测,分析不同临床参数中EMP1的表达差异,并计算EMP1表达评分用于诊断OSCC的灵敏度和特异度.结果:EMP1主要表达在细胞膜和(或)胞浆中,淋巴细胞及细胞间质中无明显表达.临床早期OSCC的EMP1表达评分高于晚期,无淋巴结转移OSCC的EMP1表达评分高于有淋巴结转移者,差异有统计学意义.用于诊断淋巴结转移的灵敏度和特异度分别为61.9％和77.8％,用于诊断OSCC临床分期的灵敏度和特异度均为70.0％.结论:EMP1的表达与淋巴结转移、临床分期存在一定相关性,可能对临床诊断和治疗OSCC具有指导价值.

Protein Levels and Clinical Significance of EMP1 in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Objective: To investigate the protein level and significance of epithelial membrane protein-1 (EMP1) in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) tissues. Methods: Immunohistochemical method was used to determine the expression of EMP1 in 60 samples of OSCC. The difference of EMP1 expression in clinical parameters was analyzed. Scores of EMP1 expression was calculated for diagnosis of OSCC. Results: The expression of EMP1 was found in the cell membrane or cyto-plasm. There were no significant expressions in lymphocytes and intercellular substance. There was a higher expression of EMP1 in the early clinical stage of OSCC than that of later clinical stage of OSCC. There was a significantly higher expression of EMP1 in no lymph node metastasis than that of lymph node metastasis of OSCC. The sensitivity and specificity used for prediction of expressive scores of EMP1 were 61.90% and 77.80%, and the sensitivity and specificity used for clinical stage were both 70.0%, respectively. Conclusion: Expression of EMP1 was correlated with lymph node metastasis and clinical stage, which may has guidance significance for clinical practice.
