Correlation study on the transrectal ultrasound measurements of prostate with prostate specific antigen of the prostate

Objective To assess the correlartion of transrectaI ultrasound measurements of prostate with prostate specific antigen,the rectum biopsy of the prostate.Methods select the rectum biopsy for prostate cancer patients with confirmed the 105 cases were randomly divided into three groups.The transrectal ultrasound(TURS) test group to prostate cancer patients tested positive for prostate ultrasonic wave anomalies.Determination of PSA value group to PSA>10ng/L for positive.TURS and blood PSA combined determination group to prostate ultrasonic wave abnormal or PSA>10ng/L for positive.The correlation between the three groups were analyzed.ResultsThe positive rate of TURS group was 68.6%,PSA group was 74.3%,TURS and blood PSA combined determination group was 91.4%.TURS group or PSA group and TURS and blood PSA combined determination group(r= 0.398,P < 0.01) were significantly associated,but TURS group and PSA group(r=0.254,P>0.05),without relevance.Conclusion TURS and blood PSA determination is a kind of diagnosing prostate cancer screening method of value,TURS and PSA determination combined application of more can improve prostate cancer diagnosis rate.
