| Abstract: | Fibrin monomer (FM) was shown to cause a considerable increase in artificial shear-induced platelet aggregation. The aggregatory effect of FM was found to be tangibly higher than that in fibrinogen. The mechanism of action of FM on platelet aggregation is hypothesized. |
