| Abstract: | Nikethamide was synthesized from nicotinic acid by reactions with diethyl amine, phosphoric oxychloride and sodium hydroxide. Instead of extracted by organic solvents, sodium carbonate was used to separate the product and water, thus the following press was simpler and the cost was lower. |
