Current trend of nasal calcitonin spray

Nasal calcitonin spray is a newly approved treatment for osteoporosis. This treatment increases lumbar spine bone mass and well tolerated. In one recent study nasal calcitonin is reduced the rate of vertebral fracture. In Japan clinical sturdy (phase III) of nasal calcitonin was performed. But this study is suspended. However nasal calcitonin has been permitted in other 50 countries.
