Abstract: | A 54-year-old patient with a Stage IVb adenocarcinoma of the cervix was treated with combination chemotherapy. This regimen consisted of intravenous cisplatin (70 mg/m2) and aclacinomycin A (30 mg/m2) on Day 1, followed by mitomycin C (5 mg/m2) on Day 2 and 3. A pathologically complete response was achieved by this regimen. The patient is well and has been free of symptoms for 66 months. |
