Abstract: | Purpose Garenoxacin, a novel des-F(6)-quinolone, possesses potent antibacterial activity against infectious pathogens in the respiratory tract. Population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling and Monte Carlo simulations were used to optimize garenoxacin dosage regimens. |
