Abstract: | Approximately 20% of all massive nontraumatic intracerebral hemorrhages are caused by ruptured intracranial aneurysms. The possibility for repeated and catastrophic rebleeds, potentially reversible increased intracranial pressure effects, and the need for cerebral vasospasm treatment make the early identification of this cause of hematoma mandatory. |
