血管内皮细胞生长因子在颅脑外伤脑组织中的表达

摘    要:目的了解颅脑外伤后血管内皮细胞生长因子(vascularendothelialgrowthfactor,VEGF)在脑组织中的表达,探讨ⅥEGF与脑损害严重程度的关系。方法采用免疫组织化学法检测30例急性颅脑外伤患者及正常脑组织的VEGF表达水平。结果外伤组及正常组脑组织中VEGF阳性率分别为73.3%和20%(x-±s)分别为42.1%±14.2%和14.8%±7.5%),两组比较差异有显著性(P<0.05)。在变性坏死神经细胞数达到40%之前,VEGF阳性率与之呈明显正相关(r=0.6348,P<0.05);当变性坏死神经细胞数超过40%时,其与VEGF阳性率呈明显负相关(r=-0.6657,P<0.05)。结论颅脑外伤后脑缺血状态能诱导VEGF表达,VEGF可能在继发性脑损害的内源性防卫机制中发挥作用。

Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in brain tissue after traumatic brain injury, and to explore the relationship between the expression of VEGF and the degree of brain injury. Methods VEGF expression in 30 patients with acute traumatic brain injury was examined by immunohistochemical assay, and 5 normal brain tissues served as control.The degree of brain injury was checked microscopically. Results The expression of VEGF was seen in 73.3% patients with brain injury, yet the positive rate of VEGF expression was 20% in normal brain tissue. There was significant difference between them( P < 0.05 ). The positive correlation between denaturalized and necrotic neurons and the positive rate of VEGF expression( r = 0.634 8 , P < 0.05 ) was found when denaturalized and necrotic neurons didn't exceed 40%, however, there existed dignificant negative correlation between them( r = -0.665 7 , P < 0.05 ) when more than 40% neurons were denaturalized and necrotic. The correlation between VEGF expression and patients'GCS was not observed. Conclusion The current results suggest that VEGF expression is induced by brain ischemia after traumatic brain injury. VEGF may participate in neuroprotection after brain injury.
