| Abstract: | This paper is based on my experience in evaluation of screening for cancer of the cervix and cancer of the breast as well as my involvement in a succession of projects sponsored by the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) [1–5]. In this paper, therefore, I shall present a distillation of the conclusions of these activities as well as provide my own perspective on current and future prospects in cancer screening. |
