OBSERVATION ON DISINFECTION EFFICIENCY OF MEDICAL DRY HEAT QUICK STERILIZER |

| Abstract: | A medical dry heat quick sterilizer was developed. The sterilizer is heated by electricity and the heat is transmitted through small glass beads to articles to be disinfected. When the temperature of the sterilizer is 200±10℃, 30 sec and 2 min are required to kill completely the Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aerugiuosa respectively, while for complete kill of Staphylococcus aureus and spores of Bacillus cereus and inactivati on of HBsAg, 5 min is required. The sterilizer is suitable for disinfection of small instruments of departments of stomatology and surgery. |
