Abstract: | The rationale for immunizing older adults with influenza, pneumococcal, and tetanus-diphtheria vaccines is derived largely from epidemiological data indicating a heightened susceptibility to these illnesses within this population. The authors provide supportive information relevant to the routine use of these vaccines in adults aged 65 or older. |
