| Abstract: | Melatonin, a antioxedation and immunodulator of indole hormone, may inhibit the acute inflammatory reaction, the effect may be related to a reduction of inflammatory mediators production during the inflammatory process. This review provides a summary of the literature towards the effect of melatonin in empirical pancreatitis. |
