Experimental Study Effect of Xiaoyong Kuidekang Decoction on Epidermal Growth Factor of Gastric Mucosa in Rats with Acetic Acid Gastric Ulcer

Objective To detect the expression of epidermal growth factor(EGF)in mucosa of rats with acetic acid-type gastric ulcer by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and to explore the effects of three treatment methods"Qingre Jiedu""Jianpi Hewei"and"Tuofu Shengji",and provide the objective basis for the evolution of the toxic heat etiology and pathogenesis of gastric ulcer.Methods A total of 140 SPF rats were selected for adaptive feeding for 2 days.They were divided into 13 groups according to randomized and double-blind methods.Excepted for the normal group,the other groups were treated with acetic acid gastric ulcer.The normal group(group A)and the model group(group B)were fed with normal saline,and the omeprazole group(group C)was given with omeprazole aqueous solution,and the Xiaoyong Kuidekang group(group D)was given to Xiaoyong Kuidekang Decoction(消痈溃得康煎剂).And the Qingre Jiedu group(group E,H,K)was given to the Qingre Jiedu drugs decoction,and the Jianpi Hewei group(group F,I,L)were given to the Jianpi Hewei drugs decoction.The Tuofu Shengji group(group G,J,M)was fed with the Tuofu Shengji drugs decoction.The A-G group began to feed on the 2 nd day of modeling,the H-J group began feeding on the 6 th day of modeling,and the K-M group began feeding on the 10 th day of modeling.On the 14 th day of modeling,the gastric mucosa tissues of each group were taken,and the EGF content of mucosa was determined by ELISA.Results The treatment of C-M group could increase the expression of EGF in mucosa.The expression of EGF in group D was significantly higher than that in E,F,G group in the same course of treatment(12 d course)(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in EGF content in K,L,M group at 4 days.(P>0.05),and EGF content in H group and E group was significantly lower than that in I,J,F and G groups at 8 d and 12 d(P<0.05);EGF content and single-peak trend curve were observed.The 8 d was the peak and the EGF content of group I and group J was significantly higher than that of group H.At the 12 th day,the EGF content of the three groups was decreased,and the EGF content of group E was still significantly lower than that of group F and group G.Conclusion The treatment of Qingre Jiedu in Xiaoyong Kuidekang Decoction mainly plays an important role in the early stage of gastric ulcer,which can counteract the pathological mechanism of toxic heat in the early stage of gastric ulcer.
