Abstract: | This investigation comprised 105 patients in whom was performed percutaneous aspiration biopsy of the pancreas. The complications that could have developed during the biopsy, immediately after the biopsy and after the following 24 hours were monitored. All possible complications such as pain, bleeding, hypotension, pancreatitis, fistulization, infection and dispersion of malignant cells along the penetrating channel were described in details. The moderate pain usually followed the percutaneous aspiration biopsy of the pancreas, but there have been no other complications.
