| Abstract: | Objective To explore the surgical treatment of peptic ulcer bleeding. Methods The surgical methods and efficacy of 67 cases of peptic ulcer bleeding were retrospectively from July 2007 to June 2010. Results There were 50 cases （74. 6 %） of benign ulcer disease, and 17 cases（25.4 %） of malignant ulcer. The average hospital stay was（ 16. 4 ± 12. 5）days, and the average blood transfusion volume was （558. 9 ± 263. 2） ml. No postoperative bleeding was observed, anastomotic leakage occurred in 2 cases and 5 cases（7.5 %）died during hospitalization. Conclusion For patients with peptic ulcer bleeding, an effective perioperative management and reasonable choice of surgical methods can achieve satisfactory outcomes. |
