| Abstract: | The familial occurrence of intracranial tumors is rare except in patients with phacomatoses. The occurrence of suprasellar yolk-sac tumors in two sisters without phacomatoses is reported. The pertinent literature is reviewed, and the possible role of heredity in the pathogenesis of these tumors is discussed briefly. |
