Abstract:This paper presents an analysis of an open-ended coaxial line sensor usedfor the dielectric propertty measurement or the bilayered biological tissues in vivo withwhich an analytical expression or sensor's fringing capacitances is derived. According tothis formula, an euquivalent circuit model of the open-ended coaxial line sensor is builtand a measurement method is designed for determining the dielectric properties or thebilayered materials. The theoretical results are compared with the experiment results,and it is shown that there is a good agreement between them.
