腧穴的功效与中药的功效有着显著的不同.针刺腧穴对机体多呈双向调整作用,腧穴的作用往往是针对一个或数个靶器官或部位的全体,而中药是针对一个或数个靶器官的某个方面,因此腧穴功效的表述不能套用中药功效的表述方式.腧穴的功效是多方面的,与机体的状态和操作手法等因素密切相关,因而其表述应该突出腧穴功效的特异性.

Study on expression of acupoint functions

The acupoint functions are obviously different to those of Chinese medical herbs. Acupuncture at acupoints most shows bidirectional regulative actions on the organism,and the actions of the acupoints often are the whole action on one or several target organs or parts,but Chinese medical herbs act on a certain aspect of one or several target organs. Therefore,expression of acupoint functions can not adopt the expression way for functions of Chinese medical herbs. Acupoints have functions of many aspects,which are closely related with the state of organism and needling manipulation methods,so,the expression of acupoint functions should stress specificity of acupoint functions.
