Abstract: | A novel flavone, named 4′-methoxy-3′,5,7-trihydroxy-8-(1″-(3?,4?,5?-trihydroxyphenyl)ethyl)flavone (1), was isolated from Sarcopyramis nepalensis, along with two known compounds syringaresinol (2) and aralidioside (3). Their structures were established by the spectroscopic analysis, especially by 2D NMR. All of the three compounds were isolated from the plant for the first time. |
