| Abstract: | Two new dammarane-type saponins jujubosides D and E, together with three known compounds, were isolated from the seeds of Ziziphus jujube. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence. Compounds 1–5 showed lipoxygenase-inhibiting activity. |
