Analysis of the Advantage of Nurses in Reporting and Monitoring Adverse Drug Reactions

Objective To achieve favorable performance in adverse drug reaction （ADR） monitoring at the grassroots level by fully exerting the role that nurses play in reporting and monitoring ADRs. Methods Based on the characteristics of nurses＇ work, the article specifically expounded the nurses＇ significant features in terms of adverse drug reaction reporting, analysis, evaluation, which confirmed the advantages of nurses in ADR monitoring. Results and Conclusion Through practice, nurses＇ advantages in ADR reporting and monitoring were fully exerted. By fully utilizing the close contact between nurses and patients to implement active monitoring, the quality of reporting and monitoring can be improved, the drug safety for patients can be guaranteed, and the rational clinic drug use can be promoted.
