Abstract: | Splenic artery aneurysms and pseudoaneurysms are being diagnosed with increasing frequency by modern imaging. The question of appropriate treatment—surgical or endovascular—arises more often. We review our experience and that of others as documented in the literature. The information available suggests that endovascular management of a splenic artery aneurysm or pseudoaneurysm offers a lower complication rate than surgery, but postprocedure imaging to ensure obliteration is recommended. |
