Abstract: | The cerebello-olivary projection was studied in the albino rat using conventional autoradiographic techniques. The results indicated that the cerebello-olivary projection in the rat is topographically organized in a pattern similar to other mammalian species. The anterior interpositus projects to the dorsal accessory olive, the posterior interpositus to the medial accessory olive, and the dentate to both lamellae of the principal nucleus. A point of controversy may arise, however, when one considers the fastigio-olivary projection. |
