踝臂指数与脉搏波传导速度的临床应用进展

Clinical Application Progress of Ankle-brachial Index and Pulse Wave Velocity

Ankle brachial index(ABI)is a simple and effective method of diagnosis and assessing the prognosis for peripheral artery disease.Pulse wave velocity(PWV)is the early and sensitive index for arterial stiffness.The two noninvasive methods applied to clinical medicine widely have vital significance for strengthening the early screening and detection of artery disease,and improving the prevention and treatment level of arteriosclerosis diseases.Here is to make a review focusing on the clinical study progress of ABI and PWV with many diseases,including cardiovascular disease,cerebrovascular disease,nephropathy and peripheral arterial disease,with the purpose to discuss the clinical application value of ABI and PWV in order to improve the earlier prevention and treatment of the atherosclerotic disease.
