Abstract: | Magnetic resonance (MR) lymphography was performed in five healthy volunteers and three patients (two adults and one infant). Subcutaneous administration of gadoterate meglumine in the foot allowed visualization of draining lymph vessels and nodes. In one patient, an inguinal fluid collection could be characterized as a lymphocele. In the infant, a chylothorax was diagnosed. The authors conclude that interstitial MR lymphography with commercially available compounds is feasible. |
