Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of KWL form combined with question-guided teaching on the critical thinking and cognitive level of trainee nurses.Methods To select 100 nurses who entered hospital for internship from January 2018 to October 2019 as the study objects,and they were divided into an observation group and a control group by using the matching method between groups,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given regular teacher clinical teaching method,and the observation group was given KWL(K-Know,W-Want,L-Learned)form combined with question-guided teaching,and crirical thinking disposition inventory-Chinese version(CTDI-CV)was used to evaluate the critical thinking ability of the two groups of nurses.After 4 weeks of training,the two groups of nurses were compared with the cognitive level and diff erences in satisfaction with teaching methods.Results The total score of CTDI-CV in the observation group was signifi cantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The cognitive level scores on emergency nursing skills,basic knowledge,risk prevention awareness,and nurse-patient communication awareness in the observation group were signifi cantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).In the evaluation of teaching methods by nurses,satisfaction with items such as stimulating learning interest,improving self-study ability,improving thinking ability,improving communication ability,expanding knowledge and training practical ability were signifi cantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion KWL forms combined with question-guided teaching can stimulate the interest of student nurses in learning,guide them to actively think about problems and learn independently,thereby rapidly improving the knowledge and critical thinking of new nurses.
