甲状腺功能亢进并周期性麻痹临床特点分析

目的　探讨甲状腺功能亢进 (甲亢 )并周期性麻痹 (周麻 )临床特点。方法　 31例甲亢并周麻与 31例初诊的非周麻性Graves病行临床对比分析 ,比较其临床表现 ,测定其TT3、TT4 、TSH、空腹血糖 (FBG)、餐后 2h血糖(2hPBG)、空腹胰岛素 (FINS)、计算胰岛素敏感指数 (ISI)。结果　甲亢并周麻组其高代谢症状群发生率、突眼发生率、甲状腺肿大发生率、ISI及血TT3、TT4 、K+ 明显低于对照组 ,而FBG、2hPBG、FINS及BMI明显高于对照组。结论　甲亢并周麻时往往甲亢症状较轻而不典型 ,胰岛素抵抗与甲亢患者发生周期性麻痹可能有关

ANALYSIS OF CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PATIENTS WITH HYERTHYROIDISM ASSOCIATED WITH PERIODIC PARALYSIS

Objective To observe clinical characteristics of patients with thyrotoxicosis associated with periodic paralysis.Methods 31 hyperthyroidism patients associated with periodic paralysis were compared with another 31 patients of new onset hyperthroidism without periodic paralysis.The levels of serum TT 3?TT 4?TSH?FBG?2hPBG?FINS,K +were detected.Result The hypermetabolic syndrome,exophthalmos,thyroid enlargement,ISI and levels of serum TT 3,TT 4,K + were significantly lower in hyerthyroidism associated with periodic paralysis than that in controls (P<0.05 or P< 0.01 ) .Whereas the levels of FBG,2hPBG,FINS and BMI were significantly higher than those of the controls (P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion Symptoms of patients hyperthyroidism were often milder in thyrotoxic periodic paralysis.Insulin resistance might be a cause of periodic paralysis in patients of hyerthyroidism.
