| Abstract: | Numerous disorders affect both the skin and the heart. These include inherited and metabolic disorders, rheumatologic diseases, infectious diseases, and a variety of others. In many instances, awareness of this association allows the dermatologist to assist in identifying potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions. |
