| Abstract: | 34(6.589%)cases of anomalies in the middle ear were reported from 517 mastoid operations.Among them were 16(3.09%)cases of anteriorly posi- tioned sigmoid sinus and 3 cases of externaly situated sigmoid sinus,16(3.09%) cases dropping fossa cranii media,7(1.35%)cases of narrow antrum mastoideum and 1 case of abnormal enlargement of antrum mastiodeum and,2 cases of exposed facial nerve in the antrum mastiodeum. |
