| 摘 要： | Experimental thrombus formation(Umetsu'smethod)in rats could be inhibited remarkably byoral administration of abietic acid(AA).The in-hibition potency of AA at the dosage of 62.5 mg/kgwas comparable to that of aspirin at 300 mg/kg.Theinhibition rates of both drugs were about 74%.Invitro,blood platelet aggregation(BPA)induced bycollagen in rats could be inhibited by AA at con-centrations of 30-72 mg/ml dose-dependently,Invivo,BPA induced by collagen in rats and inducedby ADP in guinea pigs could also be inhibited byoral administration of AA at dosages of 210 mg/kgand 600 mg/kg respectively,with inhibition rates of50% and 36.9% respectively.Toxicological studies inrats showed that with doses less than 0.5 g/kg p.o.daily for over one month,AA produced no signifi-cant changes in behavior,appetite,growth,liver andkidney function tests,blood picture and pathologicalexamination.However,at higher doses,AA causedsignificant disturbance of gastrointestinal functionsand even death.The results mentioned above suggestthat AA is the effective principle of Songxiang(松香),which has favorable effect in treating throm-boangiitis obliterans clinically.AA may be a usefuldrug in the therapy of thrombus related diseases.
