The Effect of Cold-circulation Microwave Ablation Combined with TACE on Liver Function Indexes and Alpha-fetoprotein Level in Patients with Liver Cancer

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of cold-circulation microwave ablation combined with hepatic artery embolization chemotherapy(TACE)in patients with liver cancer.Methods:A total of 96 liver cancer patients admitted to a hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method,with 48 cases in each group.The control group was given TACE,and the observation group was treated with cold-circulation microwave ablation for 3 consecutive months.The clinical efficacy,liver function indexes,alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)level,tumor diameter,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in total bilirubin(TBIL),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),AFP and tumor diameter between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the TBIL,AST,ALT and AFP,and tumor diameter in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The adverse reactions of the two groups were similar,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Cold-circulation microwave ablation combined with TACE can reduce AFP level in patients with liver cancer,promote tumor necrosis,and improve liver function without serious adverse reactions,which is safe and feasible.
