| Abstract: | Objective: To study the relationship between the level of intercellular adhesion molecule1(ICAM1) in serum of patients with cerebrovascular disease (CVD) and the pathogenesis and treatment of CVD.Methods: The content of soluble ICAM1(sICAM1) of patients with CVD and normal subjects was examined by enzyme linkedimmunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results: The content of sICAM 1 in serum of patients with cerebral thrombosis or cerebral hemorrhage is higher than that of normal subjects(P<0.01;P<0.01). The content of sICAM1 in serum of patients with cerebral thrombosis and cerebral hemorrhage accompanied by hypertension is higher than that by normal blood pressure(P<0 .05).Conclusions: There is significance for ICAM1 in pathogenesis and treatment of stroke as a result of hypertension. |
