Abstract: | Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) is described in a patient with dextrocardia. Selective cannulation of
the right anterior descending coronary artery (morphologic left anterior descending coronary artery) was achieved with modification
of standard guiding catheters “preformed” for the normal, levo-position heart. This report demonstrates the feasibility of
PTCA in patients with cardiac malposition who survive into adulthood and develop coronary atherosclerosis. |
