| Abstract: | Objective To analyze the correlation between critical thinking ability and self - efficacy among vocational nursing students. Methods A total of 128 students in clinical practice were investigated with Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory -Chinese Version （CTDI -CV） and General Self- Efficacy Scale （GSES）. Results The total scores of critical thinking ability and self - efficacy were （274.30 ±36.30） and （22.23 ± 4.75 ）. The score of self - effica- cy had significantly positive correlation with the total score of critical thinking ability and the scores of three dimensions of analytic ability, systematization capacity and self - confidence （ P 〈 0.01 ）. Conclusion Nursing educators and nursing clinical teachers should take targeted measures to improve nursing students self - efficacy and critical thinking ability. |
