| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the present status of community nursing practice bases and propose strategies for future construction. Method A total of 152 nursing staffs from 15 community health centers or stations which were selected as community nursing practice bases were surveyed with a self - de- signed questionnaire. Results Most of the nurses in the community nursing practice bases were younger than 40 years old, were graduated from vocational school,junior,had primary technical job title and had joined the conmmnity nurses training before. Their demand of eduation and willness of teaching were over 70.00% ,most of the practice bases couhl provide basic nursing services. Conclusion The construction,management system and staff training of the community nursing practice bases should be strengthened so as to provide better nursing service and nursing education. |
