抑癌基因P16蛋白在人前列腺癌中的表达及意义

目的：研究前列腺癌中抑癌基因ＭＴＳ１蛋白产物Ｐ１６表达的情况及临床意义。方法：用免疫组织化学方法（ＳＰ法）检测了６４例前列腺癌和１２例正常前列腺组织中Ｐ１６蛋白的表达情况。结果：３８例前列腺癌Ｐ１６蛋白表达表达阳性（５９．４％），其中高分化癌阳性率为９０．０％（１８／２０），中分化癌为７２．２％（１３／１８）低分化癌为２６．９％（７／２６），随着前列腺癌恶性程度的增加Ｐ１６蛋白表达阳性率显著降低，

Multiple tumor suppressor gene MTS1/P16 expression in human prostate cancer

Purpose: To study the expression and significance of MTS1/P16 gene in human prostate cancer. Methods: Using streptavidin/peroxidase (SP) method,the expression of P16 protein in 64 prostate cancer and 12 normal prostate tissues were detected immunohistochemically.All data were tested by 2 test. Results: 38 (59.4%) prostate cancer cases showed positive staining of P16 protein and the P16 positive rates decreased as the degree of differentiation decreased.The P16 positive rate in high,middle and low differentiation of prostate cancer were 90.0%,72.2% and 26.9%.There was a significant difference of P16 protein expression between high and low differentiation and so was between middle and low differentiation (P<0.05).All 12 normal prostate tissues showed P16 protein positive staining. Conclusions: Our results suggested that P16 gene played an important role in malignant progression of prostate cancer and could be used as a predictor of malignant potential and prognosis.
