Effect of probiotics on feeding intolerance of premature infant

Objective： To explore the effect of probiotics on feeding intolerance of premature infants.Methods： A total of 52 cases with feeding intolerance were randomly divided into observation group and control group by half.All infants were given erythromycin 5 mg/kg,once a day,while infants in observation group was treated by combined live Bacillus subtilis and Enterococcus Faecium granules with Multivitamines,1/2 bottle,twice a day.Results： In observation group,the efficacy was significantly higher,the time of treatment course,the duration from the starting day of treatment to the day when GRV was no more than 10%,and the duration when the calorie was 100 Kcal（kg/d） were shortened,weight was increased and time for total phototherapy was reduced（AllP0.05）.Conclusions： Probiotics is effective on feeding intolerance of premature infants without obvious side effect.
