Abstract: | Summary This case report describes a boy who had Kawasaki disease (KD) at age 12 months and had a recurrence one year later. The coronary arteries were normal following the initial episode; however, during the second episode he developed coronary aneurysms. Gallium-67 radionuclide imaging, echocardiography, and angiography were used to diagnose the coronary abnormalities. This work was supported in part by grant RR-00188 from the General Clinical Research Branch of the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. |
