Abstract:
Replacement of the entire aortic root and ascending aorta with a composite graft was done in 7 patients with ascending aortic aneurysm and aortic regurgitation. There was no worrisome postoperative bleeding, and follow-up aortography has demonstrated correction of the aortic root disease in all patients and no complications referable to the coronary artery implantation.
