Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of applying case-based PBL teaching method in clinical teaching of orthopedics and traumatology of Chinese medicine.Methods A total of 60 students undergoing clinical practice from August 2017 to October 2018 in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of Chinese Medicine in our hospital were selected for this study.They were randomly divided into two research groups.The patients who implemented the general teaching program were set as the control group.A group of patients using the case-based PBL teaching scheme was set as the experimental group.After the intervention,the clinical interns'mastery of traditional Chinese medicine orthopedics medical knowledge,practical skills,and student satisfaction were compared.In addition,the differences in communication ability between the two groups were counted.Results The patients in the experimental group had a better grasp of the medical knowledge and practice of traditional Chinese bone injuries than the other group.In addition,the satisfaction of the students in the experimental group was 83.33%,which was higher than that in the control group,which was 46.67%.The control group was high,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of case-based PBL teaching method in the clinical teaching of traditional Chinese medicine bone injuries can improve the knowledge and practical skills of nursing instructors in traditional Chinese medicine bone injuries.It can also improve students'satisfaction with teaching.Injury teaching work was vigorously carried out.
