Application Value and Effect Evaluation of Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction for Lung Cancer Pain

Objective To investigate the clinical value of Mahuang Fuzi Xixin decoction in improving lung cancer pain.Methods Among the patients with lung cancer pain admitted to our hospital from July 2013 to October 2014,48 cases were divided into observation group and control group by double-blind method.There were 24 cases in each group.The control group received analgesic drug therapy,The observation group was treated with Mahuang Fuzi Xixin decoction.The pain relief after treatment and the improvement of scores such as QOL were compared between the two groups.Results The total pain improvement rate in the observation group was 70.8%higher than that in the control group(41.6%)(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of routine status,daily activities,walking ability,sleep condition,mood,social and entertainment interference in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Mahuang Fuzi Xixin decoction can relieve the pain of lung cancer patients.
