嗅觉障碍检测对轻度认知功能损害诊断价值的研究

目的探讨在中老年（50岁以上）人群中嗅觉障碍检测对轻度认知功能损害诊断的价值。方法运用简易智能状态检查（MMSE）对研究人群进行认知功能检查,根据MMSE结果将受试人群分为可能MCI组（n=19）和正常对照组（n=46）。采用气味感知阈试验、气味识别试验、气味再记忆试验等对受试者进行嗅觉功能检测。结果可能MCI组的气味感知阈值（P〈0.01）、气味识别（P〈0.01）和气味再记忆功能（P〈0.05）较正常对照组差;相关分析显示,MMSE总分与气味识别之间有显著的相关性（r=0.299,P〈0.05）。结论 MCI患者存在嗅觉功能损害,嗅觉障碍是MCI的简单反映;嗅觉的气味识别可以作为早期筛查认知功能损害的方法之一。

Diagnostic value of mild cognitive impairment with dysosmia detection

Aim To explore on diagnostic value of mild cognitive impairment with dysosmia detection in elderly population(50 years and older).Methods Mini-mental state examination(MMSE)was used to evaluate the cognitive abilities for study population.According to MMSE results,subjects were divided into possible MCI group(n=19)and normal control group(n=46).Determination of odor perception threshold,odor identification test and odor memory test were exploited to detect the olfactory functions.Results Compared with normal control group,odor perception threshold,odor identification(P<0.01)and odor memory function(P<0.05)of possible MCI group are even worse.Correlation analysis showed that MMSE total score had significant correlation with odor identification(r=0.299,P<0.05).Conclusion As expected,MCI.patients have olfactory dysfunction.Olfactory dysfunction may simply reflect MCI.Odor identification of olfaction can be used as a simple way to estimate cognitive impairments in elderly population.
