The Clinical Effect of Ambroxol Combined with Antibiotics in the Treatment of Elderly Diabetes with Pneumonia

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of ambroxol combined with antibiotics in the treatment of elderly diabetes with pneumonia.Methods 90 elderly patients with diabetes and pneumonia who were treated in the hospital from April 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the research subjects,and all patients were randomly divided into a control group and a study group,with 45 patients in each group.Among them,the control group took conventional treatment and antibiotic treatment.Based on this combined with ambroxol treatment,the study group was used to observe the improvement of symptoms such as sputum,cough,and pulmonary rales occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups,observed the clinical treatment efficiency of the two groups of patients.Results Through post-treatment analysis,the symptoms of sputum,cough,and lung rales in the study group were significantly better than those in the control group,and the data difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was a significant difference in the occurrence of adverse reactions of the two groups of patients had skin rash,diarrhea,and vomiting,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the clinical effective rate of the study group(95.56%)was significantly better than that of the control group(75.56%),and the data difference was statistically significant(χ²=7.283,P<0.05).Conclusion On the basis of conventional treatment and antibiotic treatment,ambroxol treatment for elderly diabetic patients with pneumonia can improve the treatment effect,promote the improvement of patients'clinical symptoms,and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.It has good safety and is helpful,which has significant clinical application value to promote the recovery of patients and shorten the length of hospitalization.
