Clinical observation of amoxicillin combined with bismuth pectin in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis

Objective To discuss the effect of amoxicillin combined with bismuth pectin in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis.Methods A total of 80 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with amoxicillin,and the observation group was treated with amoxicillin combined with bismuth pectin.The therapeutic effect and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate 97.50%of the observation group was higher than 77.50%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions 7.50%of the observation group was lower than 25.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of amoxicillin and bismuth pectin shows remarkable effect for the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis,and it can effectively relieve the symptoms and improve the condition of disease.
