Analysis of the Effect of Metformin and Insulin Pump in the Treatment of Gestational Diabetes

Objective To retrospectively analyze the data of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus treated with metformin and insulin pump,and to explore the effect of metformin and insulin pump in the treatment of gestational diabetes,in order to explore a good clinical treatment plan for patients with gestational diabetes.Methods A total of 60 cases of gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to the hospital from January to November 2019 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group.The control group was treated with metformin,and the observation group was treated with a combination of metformin and insulin pump on the basis of the control group.The blood glucose index and treatment satisfaction of the two groups of patients after treatment were compared.Results After the combined treatment of metformin and insulin pump,there was a significant effect on the blood glucose index of the patients compared with the metformin treatment in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after the combined treatment of metformin and insulin pump,the satisfaction of the patients in the observation group compared with the metformin treatment in the control group was increased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion After the combined treatment of metformin and insulin pump,the patient's blood glucose index is lowered,diabetes control is good,patient satisfaction is high.
