Evaluation on the Effect of Combined Treatment of Basal Insulin and Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets on Type 2 Diabetes

Objective Combine basal insulin+metformin hydrochloride tablets in the treatment of type 2 diabetes and analyze its clinical efficacy.Methods Select 78 patients with type 2 diabetes who were treated in the hospital from October 2018 to September 2020 and divide them into two groups.39 cases in the control group were treated with basic insulin;39 cases in the observation group were treated with metformin hydrochloride tablets on this basis.Results The levels of FPG,2 hPG and HbA1c in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group after 3 months of treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the levels of CRP,TNF-αand IL-6 in the patients were significantly lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions such as dizziness,drowsiness,lower limb edema,nausea and vomiting,hypoglycemia,blood pressure fluctuations between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of basal insulin+metformin hydrochloride tablets can improve the effect of blood sugar control,reduce the level of inflammatory factors,and has good safety.
