Review on Ancient Books and Literature of Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Heart Failure

By adopting the method of literature review and research,the name,etiology and pathogenesis,treatment principles,prescriptions and other data of chronic heart failure in ancient traditional Chinese medicine literature were collected and sorted out,making a comprehensive and systematic research and summary on chronic heart failure from multiple aspects.And we sorted out,analyzed and summarized the theoretical origin of acute exacerbation of chronic heart failure,and provided complete theoretical literature support for guiding clinical treatment.Through research,it is found that ancient traditional Chinese medicine literature does not specifically consider heart failure as a disease,and adopts a summary of its symptom characteristics,and then proposes its etiology,pathogenesis and treatment methods.This article mainly collected and organized the ancient literature and a similar description of the clinical manifestations of the acute exacerbation period of modern chronic heart failure.It explored the name of the disease that the acute exacerbation period of chronic heart failure corresponding to that in the ancient books,and then we explored the etiology and pathogenesis of the chronic exacerbation period in order to discover clinical treatment methods.Modern medicine believes that the main symptoms of acute exacerbation of chronic heart failure are dyspnea,edema,shortness of breath,unable to lie down at night,and fatigue is the main symptom.Through the search of ancient books,it is found that there are multiple disease names related to heart failure.But according to the original text description of its symptom characteristics,it is found that the manifestations are similar to the description heart water in ancient literature,and so this article mainly collected the etiology,pathogenesisand treatment related to heart water,which is used to explore thepathogenesis and treatment methods of TCM in the acute exacerbation of heart failure.Based on this,it has been found that there are multiple treatment methods for heart failure.The study used a combined method to treat the acute phase of heart failure,providing a solid ancient literature foundation for traditional Chinese medicine in the acute exacerbation of chronic heart failure.
