Clinical Application of Free Anterolateral Thigh Perforator Flap

Objective： To study the effect of free anterolateral thigh perforator flap for extremity skin defect.Method：All cases were performed with free anterolateral thigh perforator flap to repair skin defect,4 cases with leg bone exposures,of which 9 cases were foot dorsum skin defect,and 2 cases with hand dorsum skin defects.The flaps were harvested in 8cm×10cm-10cm×22cm.Result：15 flaps survived were followed up for six months to 2 years,Graft flap appearance and function were satisfactory.Conclusion：Anterolateral thigh flap has cut the area,cut parts hidden,not to cause damage to major blood vessels,the advantages of a longer vascular pedicle for the repair limbs ideal method of skin damage.
